MARSHALL & WINTERS NAMED ALL-STATE
A member of the Brenham Cubs and one from the Burton Panthers have been named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State team.
Brenham Cubs’ senior first baseman Zach Marshall was named to the 5A First Team.

This past season Marshall hit .404 with 12 doubles, three home runs, 20 runs scored and 36 runs batted in. Marshall also had a .496 on-base-percentage.
Burton Panther outfielder Demonderick Winters was named Second-Team 2A All State.
Winters hit .492 this season, with a .612 on-base-percentage. He also had nine doubles, two triples, 36 runs scored and 31 runs batted in. Winters was also 19-for-19 in stolen base attempts.
