MAY “WALK WITH A DOC” EVENT DATE CHANGED DUE TO MEMORIAL DAY
This month’s Walk with a Doc event been moved to the 21st due to Memorial Day weekend.
The Brenham Clinic and City of Brenham will host “Walk with a Doc” at 9:00am on Saturday, the 21 at Hohlt Park beginning at the Amphitheatre. Residents can participate in a healthy walk in the park at their own pace and have their questions answered by Dr. Eric Alford, Family Medicine, and Dr. Jennifer Jones, Pediatrician both of the Brenham Clinic.
This Month’s walk will feature two speakers. With May being National Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Christy A. Woodruff, Dermatologist with Brenham Dermatology will discuss “sun protection and skin cancer” and Dr. Cassandra Bryant, Brenham Clinic Pediatrician, will speak on summer safety tips geared for kids. The discussion will be followed by a 30 minute walk.
