MEETINGS ABOUT PARKS AND MASTER PLANS FOR THEM

  

The Brenham Parks Advisory Board has begun a series of meetings with community groups and the general public about a parks master plan.

Wendy Ragonis, the city’s Administrative Services Director says they are working with Dr. Jo Ann Zimmerman of Texas State University in San Marcos, in guiding the city staff to develop a master plan.  Part of this development will be these community meetings going on through Wednesday.

The next meeting is scheduled for 9:00 Wednesday morning at the kitchen at Fireman's Park.

Funding for this master plan is coming from the Community Development Corporation.

The meetings and other workshops will include an understanding of the demographics of the city, an asset map, data analysis and the drafting of the overall plan.,
