METH ARREST AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

One person was arrested for the possession of methamphetamines after a traffic stop early this morning (Friday). Brenham police conducted a traffic stop at 2:20 this morning on highway 290. During the course of the stop, the driver, Nicholas Wayne Rose-Soto, age 21 of Houston, consented to a search of his vehicle and admitted to having methamphetamines in the car. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Washington County Jail.
