NATIVE OF MEXICO CHARGED WITH D.W.I.
A Mexican native faces charges after his arrest Tuesday night by Brenham Police.
28-year old Jorge Hernandez-Leyva of Mexico was pulled over by Corporal David Dudenhoeffer on a traffic stop on Highway 290 West near FM 389.
During the course of the stop, Dudenhoeffer says Leyva was found to be extremely intoxicated. He was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his level of intoxication.
Leyva was also found to be in possession of marijuana.
The case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
