MILAM COUNTY DEPUTY INDICTED IN DEADLY CRASH IN CAMERON

  

A Milam County deputy was indicted in association with a fatal wreck in Cameron.

44-year-old Michael Dean Heath of Copperas Cove was issued a state jail felony indictment for Criminally Negligent Homicide by a Milam County Grand Jury.

Heath’s vehicle broadsided a pickup truck around 9:30 p.m. on May 2, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and North Orchard Avenue.  The driver of the truck, 70-year-old Earnest Taylor of Cameron, died at the scene.  His wife, 75-year-old Shirley Taylor, suffered severe injuries.
