MILL CREEK PARTNERSHIP TO FINALIZE WATERSHED PLAN

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is looking to finalize its watershed protection plan.

The Extension Service will hold a meeting of the Mill Creek Watershed Partnership, Monday Feb. 29 at the Bleiberville Volunteer Fire Department.

The meeting will include a discussion on changes to the guidelines of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

A group discussion will be held to garner input and affirm proposed edits to the plan.

The Mill Creek watershed protection project has been funded through a state nonpoint source grant from the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board.

Registration and refreshments will begin next Monday night at 5:30 p.m., with presentations from 6-8 p.m.
