MISSING FAYETTE CO. YOUTH FOUND BY LOBOS
A missing Fayette County juvenile was located this morning with the help of Lobos, the Fayette County Sheriff’s K-9.
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that at 7:17 this (Friday) morning, a male juvenile went missing from his residence in the Rutersville area on Highway 159. Numerous Shreiff’s deputies and a DPS trooper began to search the area around the residence. They also requested a DPS helicopter to assist in the search and requested an Amber alert be issued for the youth.
At 8:35 am, Sgt. Randy Thumann reported that his K-9 partner Lobos had located the Juvenile hiding in a tree in a pasture next door to his residence. The juvenile was reportedly unharmed and was returned to his residence.
