MORE DISCUSSIONS ABOUT LIBRARY

  

The Brenham City Council has been discussing the renovations of the Nancy Carol Roberts and a new animal shelter for years and, City Manager Terry Roberts says they will have further discussions at today’s (Thursday’s) meeting.

The Council will conduct another workshop on the renovations at the Nancy Carol Roberts Library.

The library was the subject of a previous workshop session one month ago.  Wendy Ragonis, the city’s Administrative Services Director presented plans to put the library in the lobby of city hall during the 12 to 18 months of renovations.

The new Pet Adoption and Animal Care Shelter, set to go up near the Brenham City Police Station will also be up for discussion. Police Chief Rex Phelps will make that presentation.

The Brenham City Council meets today (Thursday) at one at city hall.
