MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN COLLEGE STATION ACCIDENT
A motorcyclist died Monday afternoon in an accident in College Station. 
College Station Police say 37-year-old Rex Leddy was riding his motorcycle east on Barron Road around 2:30 p.m.
A vehicle was stopped on Newport Lane at Barron Road at the stop sign. According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle failed to yield the right of way and began to turn westbound onto Barron Road. Leddy’s motorcycle struck the side of the vehicle.
Leddy was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
