MULTIPLE FIRE DEPARTMENTS RESPOND TO GRASS FIRE

  

Multiple Fire Departments have been fighting a stubborn grass and brush fire this afternoon. Fire units from Brenham, Berlin, Latium, Burton and Carmine Fire Departments were called to a grass fire near the 10,000 block of Old Mill Creek Road just after 2:30 this (Monday) afternoon. Reaching brushy areas that were on fire seemed to be the biggest problem as the fire moved along a creek bed. Crews were still reporting extinguishing hot spots at 4:30 PM.
