MURDER SUICIDE IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an elderly couple.  aND  this may be a murder/suicide.

Family members called the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning when they had not heard from relatives Neil and Helen Rotherburg. The husband and wife were both in their 80s, and had not been heard from since the weekend and were not answering their phone.

When deputies got to their home on the shores of Lake Conroe, they found the Rotherberg’s bodies.  They both had gunshot wound to their heads.

The sheriff’s deputies found a suicide note  and knew that both had health problems.  The investigation continues.
