MUSEUM OF AMERICAN GI HOSTS LIVING HISTORY WEEKEND

The Museum of American GI is hosting their Living History Weekend this weekend, April 1st and 2nd 10:00am to 5:00pm. Emily Mullins, Research and Communications for the Museum of American GI explains what it means to be a Living History Museum.

Mullins says that there will be many of the same things going this year that they have had in the past but that new events have been added.

Their annual reenactment – also the largest World War II reenactment in the south – will take place at 3:00pm on Saturday.

Tickets for this weekend’s event are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Children 5 and under get in for free. There is free parking at Santa’s Wonderland in the Prancer-lot and there will be a shuttle bus to the museum.
