NANCY CAROL ROBERTS LIBRARY TO OFFER RESUME WRITING TIPS AND TRICKS

  

Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will offer “Resume Writing: Tips and Tricks” to assist job seekers beginning June 4, 2015.

Displaced workers from the recent layoffs can come by the library, located inside City Hall at 200 W Vulcan St. this summer on Thursdays from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm.

This course will provide a basic overview of the key elements required to prepare an effective resume. Learn how to create a new resume or improve an existing one.

Help can be given to show how to format a resume, provide constructive feedback, or help you tailor a basic resume to fit specific job requirements.

Computers, printers and scanners are available for use as well.

It is recommended that participants have basic computer skills and a brief summary of their job history prepared before they arrive.
