NANCY CAROL ROBERTS MEMORIAL LIBRARY HOSTS SPECIAL ELEMENTARY PROGRAM

The Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial library will be hosting elementary library programs everyday Tuesday, at 4pm for elementary children of all ages.

The first Tuesday of each month, kids will have the opportunity to participate in the “Library Lego Club”. The children will build something with Legos that follows the theme for the month and their Lego creations will be displayed on the shelves in the children’s room.

On the following Tuesdays, Miss Lou-Lou will provide a fun and interactive program for the children that includes, puppets, books, songs, and stories.  A snack or craft that pertains to the story time theme follows each of these programs.

The upcoming program on March 29th will be all about snakes and include a snake themed craft.

  1. All these activities sound great, but starting at 4pm cuts out the majority of the kids that could participate. Most parents work till 5pm and by the time they get the kids it’s already 5:30. Now if the library could work in conjunction with the schools to have a bus take the kids, that might just work for all involved. Just a thought…….
