NAVASOTA ISD SUPERINTENDENT GESCH LEAVING
The Navasota School District is looking for a new superintendent.
Thursday, current Navasota Superintendent Rory Gesch announced he’s been hired as the new assistant superintendent for administrative and student services at Alvin ISD.
Navasota school officials say a start date for Gesch in Alvin has not been determined yet. The board will work on a transition plan at the next school board meeting, which is Monday.
Gesch joined NISD in 2006 as an assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. He took over as superintendent as 2010.
