NAVASOTA TEACHER ON LEAVE AFTER DRUNK DRIVING ACCIDENT

A Navasota teacher is on administrative leave after she was arrested for hitting multiple cars while driving drunk.

According to authorities, Ashley Craft was driving down Cain Road on January 7th when she hit three parked cars. During her arrest, police say she admitted to taking shots of whiskey before she got behind the wheel.

Navasota ISD says Craft will be back at school later this week, since they have not received the outcome of the police investigation.

  1. People, The BIBLE says ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS is SIN! There are no degrees of sin – this comes from man not GOD!! The WORD of GOD says the same penalty for ALL sin is death. But God so loved the world that HE gave his only Son so that we – ALL OF US – can escape the death penalty that sin brings. With that being said, the BIBLE says to obey those that have rule over you and according to the law of the land, drinking and driving is wrong and punishable by law. This lady has the opportunity to learn from the wrong she has done. When we know – LEARN – better we are to do BETTER!! Take the opportunity and do some ministry outreach first and foremost by PRAYING for her.

    1. I guess I’ll cast the first stone then…Never have I ever been drunk behind the wheel putting innocent lives at risk. And don’t get all religious about this because sins range in severity and this is a much bigger deal than what you are making it out to be.

      1. I guess that means you have never done anything wrong. Hopefully this gal will learn from her mistakes, I think she will!!

      2. Believe it or not all sins are equal, whether u tell a white lie or kill someone, all equally bad, in God’s eyes. And equally forgivable. I’m sure this lady will pay her dues, Just like you and I have and will continue to do so. Her glass house is different from mine and yours but your glass house can break just as easily.

        1. Mortal vs. Venial sin. Some sins are worse than others. Don’t try and say God views a rapist the same way he views a child who takes a grape from HEB.
