NCRML TO OFFER FREE LEGAL ADVICE PROGRAM

The Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will offer a legal advice question-and-answer program on March 8th.

Criminal defense attorney Paul Looney of the law firm Looney & Conrad will be the guest speaker during the program.

The program is a part on an ongoing series of free criminal law help seminars put on by the library.

Looney brings over 25 years of criminal defense law to his clients in Houston, throughout the state of Texas, and across the nation. Since 1995, he has won over 60 criminal defense trials with no convictions of his clients.

A graduate of West Texas State University, Mr. Looney earned degrees in economics and political science and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law.

Looney has been named a "Top 100 Trial Lawyer" for 2014 by the National Trial Lawyers, a premier group of attorneys who practice criminal defense or civil plaintiff law.

The program- which will begin at 5:30 p.m. on March 8th- is free, but anyone planning to attend is asked to register at cityofbrenham.org/library or by calling 337-7201.
