NEW ANIMAL SERVICES MANAGER INTRODUCED TO CITY COUNCIL

Brenham City Council members were formally introduced to the new Animal Services Manager at their meeting this (Thursday) afternoon.  Allison Harper began at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center on Monday.  Harper was the Animal Services Supervisor for the City of Allen, north of Dallas for the past four years.  She also served three years as an Animal Control Officer for the City of Cedar Park.

City Council also recognized the Blue Bell Aquatic Center for two awards it recently received.  The center received the Best of Aquatics Award for Community Outreach by Aquatics International, a national publication.  The Aquatic Center Supervisior, Tammy Jaster, also received a special recognition from the Texas Public Pool Association for serving as their President.

Two city employees were also recognized for their service.  Angeline Howard from the Financial Department was recognized for 5 years of service and Terry Fielder with the Sewer Construction Department was recognized for 30 years of service to the city.
