NEW CARDIAC/DIFIBRILLATOR FOR EMS APPROVED BY COMMISSIONERS

The Washington County EMS was approved for the purchase of a cardiac monitor/defibrillator and accessories by the Washington County Commissioners during their Tuesday morning meeting.

According to Bryan Ruemke of the Washington County EMS , this will be the fifth monitor purchase by the EMS, and will cost approximately $30,700, with $12, 500 to be reimbursed from the Local Project Grant Fund (LPG).

Another unit, the Tempest Model, is still being tested out, and if successful, will be considered for purchase. Also, another monitor will be considered for the ACP unit in Burton.

Other business was approved by the Commissioners Court, including meeting minutes from June, as well as pending Fairgrounds Management Rental and Regulation contracts and accounts payable.
