NEW CITY MANAGER IN TODD MISSION

  

The City of Todd Mission has named its new city manager.

Neal Wendele was hired as Todd Mission’s new city manager this week, in a move former city manager Terre Albert called “proactive for the city.”

Born in Bellville and raised near Harker Heights and Fort Hood, Wendele studied landscape architecture and liberal science at Texas A&M.  Wendele was most recently a city management intern with the city of Navasota.  The intern position was a part of his participation in The Bush School of Government and Public Service at A&M, where he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Service and Administration.

Wendele says he applied for the Todd Mission position because he loved working in Grimes County during his time at Navasota.  He says he will look to the citizens to help guide him through the decisions that will be most beneficial to everyone.
