NEW INFORMATION RELEASED ON CHILD’S BODY FOUND IN MADISON COUNTY

  

New information has been released about a child’s body that was found dumped in Madison County in September 2016.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says an autopsy report was unable to determine the race or sex of the child found along Interstate 45 on September 17th.

However, investigators say based on dental development, the child was between three and five years old. The child also showed evidence of having long, straight black hair. Authorities say the child also had a feeding tube, which had been surgically implanted for some time.

In addition, the child was found with a size 4 diaper and a size 4T pink dress. The dress was “Mon Petiet” brand with flowers, butterflies, and “Follow Your Dreams” printed on the front.

“We are publishing the results with the hope that possibly someone may have knowledge of this child and will contact the department with any information they may have” said the Madison County Sheriff’s Department in a statement issued on Wednesday.
