NEW KTEX COUNTRY CRUISER HITS THE ROAD
KWHI’s sister station, KTEX 106 has a new KTEX Country Cruiser and it’s a jeep. The new KTEX vehicle not only has the stations logo on it, but features larger than life photos of 4 country music artists. The images of George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Kevin Fowler, and Miranda Lambert are displayed on the sides of the jeep along with the Texas flag.
The KTEX Morning Express team will be taking the new jeep on the road beginning next week. Thursday, April 14th, the morning show will be broadcasting live form Kountry Boys Bakery and Restaurant at the Bluebonnet Shopping Center in Brenham. Every Thursday, the Morning Express Team of Kyla McCoy and Trailboss Troy will be broadcasting live at a different location across the Brazos Valley. KTEX 106 will announce a new location each week where you can come meet KYLA and Troy and check out the new KTEX Country Cruiser.
The new vehicle was purchased in December of last year from Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The lengthy process of receiving approvals from the 4 county music artists to use their images on the jeep began at that time. Once the approved photos were received, Newman Printing designed and applied the vehicle wrap along with the station’s logo.
