NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION WEDNESDAY IN BRENHAM

  

Families with children who will be attending the Brenham Independent School District for the first time this fall have some important dates coming up.

All new Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten students in the Brenham School District must register for classes this next Wednesday, July 13th. The District Registration event will be held Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the new Alton Elementary School at 1210 South Market Street in Brenham. Anyone whose child will be new to BISD and entering Kindergarten or Pre-K must register them this Wednesday.

Registration forms are available in advance at the BISD Central Office, temporarily located at the old Alton Elementary campus at 304 Kerr Street. Forms and more information concerning registration area also available at brenhamisd.net.

Parents registering their children Wednesday should along bring along several important documents, including proof of residency in the Brenham school district. This may include a current gas, water or electric bill, or a mortgage or lease agreement. A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate and his or her social security card is required.
