NEW ULM WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ANTIQUES FAIR THEFT

  

A New Ulm woman has been arrested for shoplifting at the antiques fair in Warrenton on Sunday.

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek said that Deputies were contacted by several vendors reporting a shoplifter. Sgt. Ron Naumann and Deputy David Smith responded to the area while on horseback patrol.

Deputy Smith located the shoplifter and she was identified as 21-year-old Ashley Parker of New Ulm. When questioned, Parker admitted to the thefts. The Deputies then recovered multiple items taken from a number of vendors.

Parker was charged with Theft of Property greater than $750 and less than $2,500. She was taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
