NFIB-TEXAS PRAISES KOLKHORST FOR SMALL BUSINESS RECORD

  

The Texas Chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business has cited State Senator Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham for her support for local businesses.

According to the group, Kolkhrost earned a 100 percent voting record on legislation that would have had an impact on small business during the 85th Legislature.

NFIB/Texas Executive Director Will Newton said Kolkhorst, sponsored and passed House Bill 1290, a key piece of legislation for NFIB aimed at lessening government regulations on small businesses.

Newton says Kolkhorst, “has always been an advocate for the small businesses in her district."

Kolkhorst says, "Small businesses make up that vast majority of all businesses in Texas, and are the engine of our state's economy.”
