NO CHARGES TO BE FILED AGAINST NAVASOTA TEACHER

  

Police in Navasota say they will not charge a teacher at Navasota High School who was recently placed on leave after a report of improper conduct.

The unidentified teacher was placed on leave Friday for allegations of "unprofessional conduct and violations of district policy."

Monday, the district said the police had informed them that no criminal charges will be sought.

An internal investigation continues into whether district policy has been violated.
