NOLTE NAMED SEMI-FINALIST AT WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY

  

Blinn College President Dr. Harold Nolte, who last month announced his retirement, is a semi-finalist for the Presidency of a West Virginia University.

According to an article in Thursday’s  Banner Press, Nolte was named one of 12 semi-finalists for the position at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.  School officials said the search committee is expected to name 3 finalists on November 12 and the new president is expected to be named December 10.

Nolte announced last month that he would be stepping down effective January 31.  He has served as president of Blinn College since November of 2011.
