Dora Tappe Kieke,

Dora Tappe Kieke, 87, passed away October 18, 2017 in Brenham.Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Judy and Jerry Krebs of Willow Springs; son, Darrell Kieke of Burton; grandchildren: Jared Krebs and wife Hannah, Jenna Krebs and special friend Bradley Folsom, and Katelyn Kieke. Warren Walter Sallach, Jr

Warren Walter Sallach, Jr., 65, of Brenham, husband of Becky Hermann Sallach, passed away October 14, 2017 in San Antonio.Funeral services for Warren are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 at First United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:00 Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.Survivors include his wife, Becky Sallach; son, Travis Warren Sallach, both of Brenham; step-daughter, Brittani Smith and special friend, Connor Lamb; stepson, Dustin Smith; granddaughter, Nadalli Smith; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred and Janice Hermann; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Melissa and Robert Cook, and nieces, Katy and Kelsey Beckermann. Ambrosio Ligues, 79, of Brenham, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Bryan, Texas. Leonard “Lenny” Konieczny, 68, of the Latium Community, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at Michael DeBakey Medical Center VA in Houston. Pastor Gregory Wayne Felder, 56, of Burton and Washington, TX went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 24, 2017 at his home in Washington. Greg Felder was preceded in death by: grandparents, Theo and Lena Felder and August and Lillie Muehlbrad; Uncle Edsel Muehlbrad; and Aunt Jane Felder. Rosa Lee Sommerfield, of Brenham and the widow of Lilburn A. Sommerfield, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Rosa Lee is survived by: daughter Bonnie Charping of Brenham and Wayne Herrington; son, Jimmie Sommerfield of Galveston; two brothers, Milton Green and wife Lydia of Brenham and Robert Clinton Green of Spring; and very special friend, Gus Neumann of Brenham.  Rosa Lee treasured the time she could spend with her 2 grandchildren, Roy Charping, Shiela Smith and Brad; 6 great grandchildren, Christopher Palmer, Johnathan Charping, Becky Umarov, Emily Bobalik, Courtney Ellis, and Ashley Tonubbee;  5 great-great grandchildren, Malaki Charping, Travis Tonubbee, Rayne Bobalik,  Marceleen Ellis, and Cohen Tonubbee; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Johnnie Henry Kubeczka, 76 of Brenham and the husband of Ruby Heidemann Kubeczka passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 while sleeping peacefully at his home. Mass of Christian Burrial will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday Sept 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham with Msgr. Larry Wayne Schulz age 62 of Brenham joined God, family and friends who have gone before him on September 13, 2017. Elaine Brauner

Elaine Brauner, age 86 of Brenham, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Elaine was born in Brenham on November 11, 1930 to Herman and Selma (Sommerfeld) Simank.  On December 9, 1950, Elaine was united in marriage to Wenzel Brauner and enjoyed sixty years of marriage. Milton H. Flentge

Milton H. Flentge, 90, husband of LaRuth Boecker Flentge, passed away August 17, 2017 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Salem Lutheran Church, with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mervin Lee Maass

Mervin Lee Maass, 80, passed away August 17, 2017 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Greg Felder officiating. Mervin Lee Maass was born October 7, 1936 in Burton to Willie and  Laura Stark Maass. He was baptized November 7, 1936, and confirmed April 2, 1950. On June 2, 1956, he married Carrie May Matthies in Burton. Mr. Maass  worked as a home builder, and was retired. Survivors include his daughter  and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jimmy Tiemann of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Elroy and Carolyn Sue Maass of Brenham; sister-in-law, Evelyn Maass of Giddings; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Nathan Zibilski of Magnola; grandchildren: Valerie Harrison and Jared Tiemann. His  great-grandchildren,  Keagan Harrison, Hunter Duffy,  and Aydn Tiemann, fondly referred to him as “Goo Goo. Mr. Maass was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie; parents, Willie and Laura Maass; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Jay Oldham; granddaughter, Madeliene Lynette Tiemann; brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Virginia Maass;  sister –in-law and brother-in-law, Marjorie Ann and Eugene Thaler, and brother-in-law, Dennis Maass. Kenneth Wayne Schiller

Kenneth Wayne Schiller, 55, of Brenham, died August 14, 2017 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in College Station, as a result of heart attack complications. Survivors include his mother, Laverna Schiller, and sister, Shirley Schiller, both of Brenham. He was preceded in death by his father, Erwin Schiller, and an uncle, Charles Spreen. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Jill Vivroux officiating. Martha (Zientek) Murski, age 99 of Brenham, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. J. F. “Johnnie” Naumann, 86, husband of Cora Lee (Korth) Naumann, died August 9, 2017 in Brenham.
