Larry Wayne Schulz

Larry Wayne Schulz age 62 of Brenham joined God, family and friends who have gone before him on September 13, 2017. Visitation with Schulz family will be on Friday, September 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel with his service following on Saturday, September 23rd at 3 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church. After the service, all are invited to join the procession, leaving the church, back to Larry’s home for his “Legendary 4th of July Party” one last time. Joe Eddie Konieczny

Joe Eddie Konieczny, 69, of Chappell Hill, TX was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on September 14, 2017. Joe is survived by his wife, Irene; daughters, Joyce Pelley and husband Lewis; Sharon Thomas; grandchildren, Travis Pelley and wife Becky; Casey Taylor and husband William; Dustin Pelley and wife Leann; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Bonnie and Samuel Pelley, Rory and Lincoln Taylor, Patrick and Elizabeth Pelley; sisters, Barbara Gurka, Rosemarie Konieczny and numerous extended family and friends. Robert Wellmann

Robert Wellmann age 90 of Brenham and the widower of Selma (Loesch) Wellmann passed away Tuesday, August 29 in Brenham. John H. Howard, beloved father, cherished husband, and best friend passed away Monday, August 28, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sheila Howard; daughter Marrit, and grandson William Ingman. Elaine Brauner

Elaine Brauner, age 86 of Brenham, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Elaine was born in Brenham on November 11, 1930 to Herman and Selma (Sommerfeld) Simank.  On December 9, 1950, Elaine was united in marriage to Wenzel Brauner and enjoyed sixty years of marriage. Milton H. Flentge

Milton H. Flentge, 90, husband of LaRuth Boecker Flentge, passed away August 17, 2017 in Brenham. Mervin Lee Maass

Mervin Lee Maass, 80, passed away August 17, 2017 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Greg Felder officiating. Mervin Lee Maass was born October 7, 1936 in Burton to Willie and  Laura Stark Maass. He was baptized November 7, 1936, and confirmed April 2, 1950. On June 2, 1956, he married Carrie May Matthies in Burton. Mr. Maass  worked as a home builder, and was retired. Survivors include his daughter  and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jimmy Tiemann of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Elroy and Carolyn Sue Maass of Brenham; sister-in-law, Evelyn Maass of Giddings; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Nathan Zibilski of Magnola; grandchildren: Valerie Harrison and Jared Tiemann. His  great-grandchildren,  Keagan Harrison, Hunter Duffy,  and Aydn Tiemann, fondly referred to him as “Goo Goo. Mr. Maass was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie; parents, Willie and Laura Maass; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Jay Oldham; granddaughter, Madeliene Lynette Tiemann; brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Virginia Maass;  sister –in-law and brother-in-law, Marjorie Ann and Eugene Thaler, and brother-in-law, Dennis Maass. Kenneth Wayne Schiller

Kenneth Wayne Schiller, 55, of Brenham, died August 14, 2017 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in College Station, as a result of heart attack complications. Survivors include his mother, Laverna Schiller, and sister, Shirley Schiller, both of Brenham. He was preceded in death by his father, Erwin Schiller, and an uncle, Charles Spreen. J. F. “Johnnie” Naumann, 86, husband of Cora Lee (Korth) Naumann, died August 9, 2017 in Brenham. Carol Jean Kleiber Zwahr, the widow of Larry Zwahr, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Carol is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Judy and Steve Avis, sister Sandy Els, sister-in-law Dorothy Vogler, brothers-in-law Billy Zwahr and Wally Zwahr, daughter and son-in-law Amy and Aaron Schramm, son and daughter-in-law Nathan and Alison Zwahr, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Katie Zwahr, grandchildren Brad Schramm and fiancée Rachael Kelley, Lana Schramm, Alexa Zwahr, and Alyssa Zwahr, and great-grandchildren Autumn and Aurora Osagie, along with many other relatives and friends.
