OCTOBER BUILDING PERMITS REACH $2.1 MILLION

  

The new construction of a Burger King and an interior remodel of a credit union helped boost the October building permits in Brenham to over $2.1 million.

The City of Brenham issued a $600,000 permit to American National Construction for the new Burger King, which is located at 1101 N Park Street.

Associated Credit Union was granted a $700,000 permit for an interior remodel of the existing building at 2509 Becker Drive.

The building permits issued for this year to date total nearly $43 million. The permits issued are well ahead of last year’s pace of $27.1 million at this same time.
