ONE DEAD, FOUR ARRESTED AT TEXAS A&M FRATERNITY

Police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old student on Saturday at the Sigma Nu house on Fraternity Row at Texas A&M University.

In a preliminary investigation, police believe the student died of a drug overdose. However, the exact substance that caused the student’s death has not been determined.

According to College Station Police, officers responded to the house earlier on Friday night to issue a warning to the fraternity members. At approximately 5 a.m. on Saturday morning the police were called again. This time they responded to the unconscious 19-year-old. He was rushed to College Station Medical, where he was pronounced dead.

After finding illegal substances in the house, police arrested Ty Robertson, 21, on a charge of possession of LSD and Ecstasy; Michael Frymire, 20, on a possession of cannabis hash oil; and Samuel Patterson, 21, and Christian Sanford, 18, on possession of marijuana.

  1. Yes, those are indeed the mugshots, not their pictures from the A&M yearbook. Three of them appear higher than a kite, one, not so much. Everybody should note NOT to smile on a mugshot. Its just never a good thing.

  2. I sincerely hope these are not “mug shots” of the young men arrested. If they are and these guys are smiling after the death of their “frat brother”, it does a very poor job of showing remorse.

Perhaps KWHI could comment on the source of these pictures.
