ONE KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT IN CALDWELL

  

State Troopers are investigating a deadly crash west of Caldwell.

Trooper Jimmy Morgan reports that around 3:50pm Thursday afternoon, the driver of a Ford minivan was killed after he pulled into the path of an SUV that was traveling on Highway 21.

Morgan says the minivan was pulling out of a private driveway. The other driver in a Ford Excursion headed out west on Highway 21, swerved left to try and avoid the minivan, but the two collided.

The driver of the minivan was killed. The driver of the SUV and the two children in the SUV were taken to St. Joseph Health Center in Caldwell with minor injuries.

The highway was closed for a couple of hours, except for one westbound lane.
