ONE WOMAN DEAD IN BRYAN CAR ACCIDENT
One woman is dead after a major accident in Bryan early Saturday morning.
28-year-old Victoria Danielle McGowan was pronounced dead at the scene just after 2:30 a.m.
According to authorities, a Nissan Cube with four occupants was traveling northbound in the 3800 block of S. Texas Ave. A Hyundai Sonata, in which McGowan was a passenger, was traveling in the southbound lane of Texas Ave. when it crossed over the line, colliding with the Cube.
The four people inside the Cube were taken to CHI St. Joseph Hospital with incapacitating injuries. The driver of the Sonata was treated and released from the hospital.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
