PAIR FACE MULTIPLE CHARGES AFTER BRENHAM TRAFFIC STOP

Two people face charges after a weekend traffic stop by Brenham Police.

Late Saturday night, Cpl. Steven Eilert responded to the 900 block of US 290 W to assist Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer with a traffic stop.

Dudenhoeffer said the vehicle had stopped on the entrance ramp and the male driver got out and switched places with the front seat female passenger.

As the officers made contact with 34-year old Terance James Farrell and 31-yeard old Jessica Nicole Levi, they say they could smell alcohol on the breath of Farrell, who had originally been driving.

Farrell reportedly failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for DWI.

Three children under the age of 15 were also in the vehicle.

Levi was arrested for three outstanding warrants: Animal at large; No rabies vaccination; and an Unregistered animal.
