PANTHERS LOOK TO REBOUND AGAINST LOUISE

The Burton Panthers are looking for improved defensive play when they face Louise, Friday night on the road.

The Panthers let a 10-point lead slip away last week in a 46-36 loss to Brazos Consolidated in Wallis.

Burton Head Coach Jason Hodde says the team must show defensive improvement this week…

The Panthers are 1-1 on the season, while the Hornets are 0-2.

Hodde says it’s usually a tough battle when the two former district foes get together…

Kickoff in Louise is set for 7:30.

Next week, the Panthers will host Normangee in a game that can be heard on KWHI and www.kwhi.com.
