PANTHERS RETURN VETERAN TEAM FOR 2014
The Burton Panthers carry an experienced team into the 2014 season, which got started Monday morning with two-a-day workouts.
The Panthers return seven starters on each side of the football, including their starting quarterback, middle linebacker and one of the most highly-recruited athletes in school history.
Burton is coming off a 2013 season that saw the team finish the year 6-4, but they were a perfect 5-0 in district play.

The Panthers come back with highly-touted defensive end/receiver/running back Louis Brown. Brown has made a verbal commitment to the University of Texas.
The Panthers also return starting quarterback Luke Huffe and linebacker Brandon Salinas.
Burton’s first scrimmage will be Friday, August 15th at Hempstead.
The season opener will be at Panther Stdium, Friday night August 29th against Thorndale.
