PERFECTION IN BLINN NURSING PROGRAM
Perfection has become the habit for the Blinn College Vocation Nursing Program on the Brenham campus. .
All 19 of the program’s 2013 graduates passed their National Council Licensing Examination, marking the fifth consecutive year in which the program has posted a 100 percent passing rate. This span includes 81 students. Of the state’s 98 vocational nursing programs, the Brenham campus of Blinn is one of just 10 that posted a perfect pass rate from 2009 to 2012.
Program graduates must pas the test to work as an officially licensed vocational nurse. The national pass rate is 84 percent.
