PFLUGERVILLE MAN FACES LOCAL CHARGES

A Pflugerville man faces several charges after his arrest on a Brenham traffic stop, Friday night.
Police were informed of an intoxicated driver on Highway 290 headed toward Houston, who was not able to maintain a lane and had nearly struck another vehicle.
Police stopped 34-year old Kyle Castro of Pflugerville. Officers say Castro had the strong odor of alcohol and refused to perform a field sobriety test. He also had a child passenger with him.
Castro was taken to the Washington County Jail. While he was being booked, authorities found Castro with two valid Texas Drivers Licenses.
Castro was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Two Drivers Licenses.
