    Very concerned parent

    1. I haven’t heard any news about our area evacuating. Rain has calmed down as of now. Wind is pretty strong still.

    2. We live very close to Blinn College. Everything is ok here. Your son will be fine as long as he stays off the roads.

  4. My husband was going to Houston for work and got turned around and had to stop for the night in navasota. How bad is the flooding on 6? I cant sleep worrying about him and haven’t heard from him in hours… his name is lofton, if anyone meets him or knows anything that would help me I would greatly appreciate any information.

    1. there is very little flooding in any of the Navasota, Brenham areas as long as people stay off the roads near creeks and rivers…

        1. Loop around the worst of the storm-affected area to the west/northwest. Gonna be a long drive, and I wouldn’t try it, but…

        2. Lisa

We came from College Station today.
          Don’t go thru Navasota.
We had to take 21 to all the way around to get to Columbus. 21 to 77 to 10

Stay home – it is not getting better.

      2. I live in Bellville and need to go to Lowes tomorrow to buy a pump to get the standing water out of my stopped up drain.

Does anyone know if Highway 36 between Bellville and Brenham is drive-able?

I did a text chat with a representative of Lowes and was told they will be open tomorrow. I live right off the Bellville square close to 36 so I just need to figure out if I can get down 36 to Lowes.
