PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING TONIGHT

Brenham’s Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet tonight at 5:15 in the Brenham City Council Chambers.

Two requests are on the agenda for tonight’s meeting, including a request to rezone a small tract of land on Peabody Street, and considering a plat of four lots in the Crosswinds Estates Subdivision… the Commission may also be appointing a Deputy Secretary.

The rezoning on Peabody would take the tract from a Commercial, Research and Technology land to Mixed Residential.

The plat of four lots in the Crosswinds Estates Subdivision is just outside the city limits but falls within the city’s extra territorial jurisdiction.

The board is also due to receive their monthly Developmental report from City Staff.

  1. I hope th monthly development report explains the impact that the proposed change of zoning south of the courthouse will have on my home. A major area is being allowed to go commercial without a parking area. Am I the only one that sees the problems with this? If so? Maybe we need to clean the swamp here in Brenham government and city management.
