PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO MEET MONDAY

  

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet Monday at 5:15 pm in the Brenham City Council Chambers.  Two requests are on the agenda for the meeting.

They will consider a request to rezone a very small tract of land on Peabody Street from Commercial, Research and Technology to Mixed Residential.   The commission will also consider the plat of four lots in the Crosswinds Estates Subdivision.  That subdivision, located on Highway 36 North, is outside the city limits but falls within the city’s extra territorial jurisdiction.

The Commission is also expected to appoint a Deputy Secretary.  A deputy secretary would be able to sign documents in cases where the Secretary, Lynnette Sheffield, had recused herself.

The board will also receive the monthly Development Report from city staff.
