POLICE BREAK UP BRAWL IN COLLEGE STATION

A brawl in College Station left at least three people injured late last (Monday) night.

Officers were called out to the Southgate Village apartments, following reports of a large fight in the parking lot.  Officials reported seeing at least 40-50 people in the melee.  Dozens were armed with firearms or knives, and many suffered from stab wounds and cuts.  Victims were all taken to area hospitals, with non-life threatening injuries.

Additional officers from nearby agencies assisted the College Station officers on site, due to the number of people involved, reports of multiple weapons, and the open hostility shown by many of the people still at the scene.  The Texas A&M PD, Bryan PD, and Brazos County Sheriff’s Office all responded to assist.

Officials have identified potential suspects in this case, but no arrests have been made.
