Derrick met with the owners of the Austin street residence who said they had left around 8:30 a.m. and returned at 11:30.

Meanwhile, the glass in the back door at the residence on Church Street had also been broken out.

In this case, money and a firearm were stolen. The weapon, a handgun, was estimated to cost $800.
