POLICE SEARCH FOR PERSON ATTEMPTING TO PASS COUNTERFEIT MONEY
Police are searching for a person who attempted to pass counterfeit money in the 500 Block of Highway 290.
Around 6:18 am, a customer in the drive-through of the McDonalds placed an order for food, and attempted to pay for the order with a $100 bill.
An employee in the restaurant said that the bill did not look authentic, and took it to the back for verification.
During that time, the person left with their food in a dark Ram Pickup.
The case is still under investigation.
