POLLS OPEN 7-TO-7 FOR PRIMARY, TUESDAY

  

Fifteen polling locations will be open Tuesday, for the 2018 Republican and Democrat primaries in Washington County.

There are a number of local races on the Republican ballot, including: State Representative, County Judge, Precinct Two County Commissioner, County Court-at-Law Judge and Precinct Four Constable.  The Democrats’ ballot does not include any local races.

The Republican candidates for District 13 State Representative include: Ben Leman, Daniel McCarthy, David Stall, Jill Wolfskill and Marc Young.  The winner will face Democrat Cecil Webster in November.

In local Republican races, County Judge John Brieden faces challenger John Durrenberger; Precinct-2 County Commissioner Luther Hueske faces challenger Candice Kocian Bullock; County Court-at-Law Judge Eric Berg faces Robbie Gail Charette; and for Precinct 4 Constable, Greg Rolling faces H.C. “Buddy” Riddle.

According to Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel, 2923 Republicans and 372 Democrats have cast early votes for a total of 3295 total votes cast.

104 117 & 121 -- Washington County Event Center

109 -- St Matthew Lutheran Church

115 -- Silver Wings Ballroom

203 -- Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Dept

205 -- VFW Hall, E Torn Green St

202 & 208 -- Salem Lutheran Church

307 & 316 -- American Legion Hall

311 – St. Peter's Lutheran Church

312 -- St. John Lutheran Church - Prairie Hill

320 -- Berlin-Millcreek-Zionsville Fire Dept

406 418 & 419 -- Blinn College Student Center

410 -- Burton Community Hall

413 -- Emmanuel Lutheran Church

414 -- Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church

Polls will be open Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
