Sheriff’s Deputies along with Criminal Investigators and Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division Agents confiscated more than 15,000 plants with an estimated the street value over 7-and-a-half-million dollars.

Hanak says those responsible apparently realized the property owner had made this discovery and abandoned the operation before authorities were contacted or could make the location.

The case remains under investigation.

  1. Why can officers find every teenager in the town that is in possession of a joint, but when it comes to growing operations, they an never apprehend the culprits????? I believe this is the 3rd “pot farm” they have discovered, with no arrests made.
