Texas Central Partners, the private company that is set to develop a bullet train line that would connect Dallas to Houston, announced the results of a contest for the design of stations on Wednesday.

The competition was open to students studying architecture, urban planning, or transportation. Officials say they received 45 proposals from almost 100 students. The contest had three prizes- one for station architectural design, one for urban design, and one for sustainable design.

Ledell Thomas and Kaylah Wesley from Prairie View A&M won the sustainability prize for their Brazos Valley Station proposal. As part of the award, the students won $5,000 for their school and $2,000 for themselves.
