PRE-UIL CHOIR AND BAND CONCERT TUESDAY

  

The Brenham High School Choir and Brenham High School Band have announced the date for their Pre-U.I.L. Concert.

On Tuesday, March 27th, the BHS Choir and Band will host the free concert at Brenham High School auditorium at 6 p.m. The Choir will kick off the program, followed by the Concert II, Concert I and Symphonic Bands. Each group will perform the three pieces of music they are going to play in U.I.L. competition the following week. Some of the concert highlights will include “Sing We” and “Chant It” by Morely, “Tanchozuru “ by Standridge, “Havendance” by Holsinger and “The First Suite in E flat” by Gustav Holst.

Brenham Band Director Eric Rettig says “This is an excellent opportunity to see these talented young musicians and singers when they are performing at their very best before they go to U.I.L. contest.”

KWHI will air a recording of the Pre-U.I.L. Concert on Thursday, March 29th at 5:30 p.m.
