PRESCRIPTION TAKE BACK FRIDAY

  

Prescription medications don’t  just go away once it has expired, or is no longer needed.  Mike Chisum of the Brazos Valley Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse says too often they are poured down a sink and into the water supply or get in the hands of young people who can abuse them.

That’s why the BVCASA is working with the city of Brenham in a prescription medication return program Friday at the Brenham police station.

The prescription take back program is fro 9am to 4pm at the Brenham police station.  Chisum says there will be no questions asked.
